My name is Ollie, and I’m a UK-licensed amateur radio operator with the call sign M7OBG. I first gained my foundation in 2021, and since then I’ve been enjoying exploring different aspects of the hobby.
I have a particular interest in antenna building and VHF contesting as part of Burton-on-Trent Amateur Radio Club. My current rig is an IC-7000 with a Dual 11 Element Yagi and a homebrew EFHW for HF.
When I’m not on the air, I am a project engineer in a pharmaceutical company, I also do white a bit of homebrew wine and making jams/jellies.
